Hydro seeding is a process of mixing water, seed, fertilizer, and a wood fiber mulch together and applying with a fire hose or a water cannon to a properly prepared seedbed. This technique first was developed for highway right of ways, to provide a fast, cost effective way to establish any type of turf, native grass, or wild flower mix.
