Owner Robert D. Broughton oversees Empire’s design
services. He is a member of the American Society of
Landscape Architects and he received his BLA degree
from the University of Minnesota, Institute of
Technology.

- Consultations, including suitability for Solar Arrays or Wind turbines.
Landscape
design is a problem solving, systematic process that
consolidates design ideas on texture, form, color,
structure, and the use of plant materials to create
landscapes and gardens. Our landscape architect and
other design staff members design to our client’s
needs and to the site’s parameters.
In addition to hand sketches and thumbnail renderings, we use computer aided design (CAD) which enables us to economically document and present your designs with efficiency in both 2D and 3D
